Village Hall Energy Club – cheaper electricity together

The power to save money on utilities for village halls

How it Works

The concept is a simple one, combining the buying power of many halls enables cheaper prices for electricity and gas.

RuralClick the national village hall portal and LSI Brokers have combined expertise to bring a new level of savings to village halls. Cheaper electricity and gas means more sustainable halls for the future.

The Village Hall Energy club develops this principle to ensure bigger and better savings. LSI brokers are one of the leading Voluntary and Charity sector brokers, in addition they manage the contracts of some of the largest high street names, housing associations and Blue Chip companies. This allows Village halls to benefit from these contracts for a great deal. Click here to see some of their customers

This means that any price quoted is likely to be substainally lower than your existing tariff.

The Village Hall Energy Club then works by creating contracts on a common contract end date. Currently any daily price will depend on a variety of factors, but a major one will be the level of contracts that can be placed on the same day. With all halls working towards a common end date the re-negoiation will allow a massive saving. Already a pilot with a similiar network (but less than 3% of the potential village hall numbers) will start from a position of a 14 million KW hour requirement.

Membership is free, it just requires you to tell LSI that you want join the village hall energy club.

All halls will have a common end date of December 2011, which provides enough time to enable those on current contracts to opt in, and enough time to secure great value contracts with flexibility now.
